Overview

Healthcare Assistant – Mary Moore Ward. Band 3 – (subject to presentation of full care certificate). Full-time 37.5 hours per week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and caring Healthcare Assistant, with a passion for working on a surgical ward, to join our supportive and friendly team.

Responsibilities

Working under the direct supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse, Ward Manager who delegates tasks to the post holder, the Healthcare Assistant (HCA) will deliver high quality nursing care to patients, as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be hardworking, compassionate and have a passion to care to this client group.
  • Previous experience in this role is preferred but you will be provided with clinical training to learn the role and will have daily supervision by trained staff to perform safely, confidently and competently the clinical skills required.
