Job Overview
This is a Locum Consultant in Gastroenterology appointment, which will commence as soon as possible.
This post is a new 10PA, fixed-term, locum consultant post in Gastroenterology following a review of the service demand. The post holder will provide outpatient general gastroenterology services.
PLEASE NOTE: Only applications that meet the required 6 months NHS experience as a gastroenterology consultant requirement will be considered.
The StaffBank for Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust are seeking enthusiastic Locum Consultant in gastroenterology to join our pool of Staff Bank workers. Depending on previous relevant experience & previous NHS experience, higher banding/rates can be discussed. This is an excellent job opportunity for a consultant to gain more experience and skills working within gastroenterology.
Main duties of the job

  • To show dynamism, enthusiasm and flexibility in participating in the reshaping of the gastroenterology services at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and to work closely with the Clinical Leads and Clinical Director of Medicine.
  • To help provide a first class clinical service to all Trust patients.
  • To provide high quality leadership and support to medical staff allied health care professionals, Trust management and support staff across the areas. 4. To support and sustain teaching and research where possible in relevant clinical areas. 5. To work within the framework of applicable Trust policies, procedures, and clinical governance framework. 6. To work within contractual requirements, and in support of applicable Trust clinical development frameworks, business plans, and development strategies. Working for our organisation
