The Client Services team at Digitas build relationships with clients, partners and colleagues to deliver great work. To do that we focus on four C’s:
• Clients – we understand our clients, their business and their customers, inspiring our teams to deliver work that makes a difference
• Creative – through the identification of business challenges and opportunities we create the environment for creative thinking
• Craft – we are the guardians of the work we deliver, bringing the right experts together to ensure quality and craftsmanship
• Commercial – it is our job to ensure the profitability of the work we deliver for the agency and for clients, enabling long term partnerships

Role Summary

We’re looking for a driven Account Director, or highly experienced SAM who is ready to take the next step in their career, to work on one of the highest profile accounts for the agency. As an ambitious client services professional, you’ll thrive on delivering new and innovative creative ideas in a fast-paced environment.

We develop multi-channel campaigns across TV, Broadband and Mobile, which cover every consumer touch point: TV, press, digital, experiential, retail and social. As an Account Director, you’ll be responsible for developing the idea and multi-channel response to brief, and the roll-out and delivery of the campaign. So, we’re after a natural leader to the client services team, who has the ability to get the best work out of our talented creative department.

• Develop solid business relationships with clients through regular and pro-active contact
• Own your assigned projects and campaigns, keeping clients informed of account direction and maintaining forward momentum on campaign projects
• Determine how best the client’s brief can be met with consultation of the wider team as required
• Liaise closely with the strategic planning team to understand the competitive environment
• Encourage creative colleagues to develop best-in-class work in line with required strategic direction
• Effectively present agency work/proposals to clients and support other team members and agency colleagues
• Attend regular client status meetings and review both status and contact reports
• Actively manage and take responsibility for campaign finances

• Creatively driven and always keen to explore new routes to market
• Excellent understanding of agency/creative/production processes
• Experience as an Account Director or a Senior Account Manager with at least 5 years agency experience
• Experience of managing financials across multiple projects
• Natural leader with effective management and delegation skills
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
• Pro-active and organized, with particular attention to detail
• Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
• Confident and self-motivated
• Maturity in relating and interacting with people at all levels
