As a Lead Data Strategy Consultant, you will lead analytics delivery across a range of clients and products within the Data division. You will support data‑driven growth by assessing campaign performance and analysing online and offline transactional data to generate insights into consumer behaviour and deliver measurable business impact. The role is hybrid, based in our London office (4 days per week).
Responsibilities
- Manage analytics work across a variety of clients and products
- Enable the data‑driven strategy to grow client and company business
- Provide actionable insight to optimise campaign success
- Build strong working relationships with clients and share procedural knowledge
- Conduct hands‑on data manipulation and custom analysis to drive client insights and strategy
- Train and mentor colleagues on accurate interpretation and communication of analysis findings
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in an analytical field (social sciences, applied mathematics, statistics, economics, advertising measurement)
- Agency or client‑facing experience
- Analytical skills to extract, interrogate, and analyse large datasets
- Extensive knowledge of direct mail data applications
- Experience with Python (strong programming and procedures)
- Experience with databases comprising data from multiple sources
- Familiarity with RFM segmentation
- 3‑5 years of relevant industry experience
Preferred Qualities
- Comfortable with client‑facing interaction and explaining technical findings in non‑technical terms
- Curious about data and problem‑solving (asks WHY)
- Enjoys educating others and improvising creative problem‑solving
- Multitasks efficiently on multiple projects
- Can engage with diverse personalities and handle spirited debates
