Epsilogen is seeking an experienced Project Manager with proven project management experience to join the company at an exciting time in its development. If successful, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative environment. Working closely with the VP Product Development, you will take the lead in the management of externally funded grants and contribute to the management of Epsilogen’s internal programmes and other outsourced activities. You will support Epsilogen’s management team to help drive the company’s research and development operations.
To succeed, you will have three to six years of experience working in project management roles in addition to a deep understanding of drug discovery, pre-clinical development and clinical development, gained from the biotech and/or pharma industry. You must have excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work independently, possess acute attention to detail and be fully familiar with project management practice, preferably with a qualification in project management. This is potentially a hybrid role, combining home working with attendance at our offices in West London.
Key Responsibilities- Take a leading role in the management of externally funded grants
- Contribute to the management of Epsilogen’s internal programmes and outsourced activities
- Support implementation of Epsilogen’s pre-clinical and clinical development programmes
- Support Epsilogen’s management team to help drive the company’s research operations
- Provide regular updates and reports to Epsilogen’s management team
- A proven track record of project management in a biotechnology/pharma setting
- A proven track record of managing grant-funded research projects and liaising with grant funding bodies
- A degree in biological/biochemical science with working knowledge of the biotechnology/pharma industry
- A project management certification, such as PMP, AMP PMQ, CAPM, or PRINCE2
- Ability to use various project management software tools, with deep familiarity with MS Project as a minimum
- Ability to develop strategies and organise tasks
