We're recruiting a Senior Accountant for a well-established practice in Milton Keynes.This is a role for someone who's confident running accounts and tax jobs from start to finish, enjoys building relationships with owner-managed businesses, and wants the scope to keep progressing.You'll work across a mixed client base and have real autonomy in how you manage your work.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Handling corporation tax, personal tax and VAT compliance
  • Acting as a day-to-day contact for your clients and resolving queries
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior colleagues and supporting their development
  • Spotting opportunities to add value and improve processes
  • Managing your workload to deadlines and budgets

What you'll bring

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or strong QBE) with solid UK practice experience
  • Confident preparing accounts and tax to completion
