What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Supporting in the preparation of management accounts.
- Preparing VAT returns and assisting with tax computations.
- Liaising directly with clients and HMRC.
- Supporting junior team members where appropriate.
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects and client advisory work.
What We’re Looking For
- Ideally AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (study support available).
- Minimum 2-3 years experience within an accountancy practice.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Confident communicator with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
- Keen to progress and take on more responsibility over time.
