The Role
You’ll work as part of a collaborative audit team, supporting the delivery of high-quality audit assignments across a range of sectors, including owner-managed businesses, corporates, and not-for-profit organisations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with audit planning and fieldwork across multiple engagements
- Performing audit testing and preparing working papers
- Drafting statutory accounts under UK GAAP
- Supporting audit seniors and managers on-site and remotely
- Liaising with clients during audits and responding to queries
- Identifying potential risk areas and escalating findings appropriately
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
What You’ll Bring
- ACA or ACCA part-qualified (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in external audit within UK practice
- Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
- Confident communicator with developing client-facing skills
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
