The Role
As Audit Manager, you'll take ownership of a diverse audit portfolio across a range of sectors, including owner-managed businesses, larger corporates, and not-for-profit organisations. You'll be a key point of contact for clients and will work closely with partners to ensure consistently high standards are delivered.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading audit engagements from planning through to completion and sign-off
- Managing and reviewing the work of on-site audit teams
- Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements under UK GAAP
- Acting as the main client contact during audit assignments
- Identifying audit and business risks, and providing practical recommendations
- Mentoring, developing, and supporting trainees and senior team members
