A senior, client-facing role for a qualified accountant who wants to lead relationships and shape how a portfolio is run.

We're working with a well-regarded practice in Hemel Hempstead looking to appoint a Senior Client Manager.

You'll be the trusted lead adviser for a portfolio of businesses — overseeing their accounts, tax and advisory needs, reviewing the numbers, and being the senior point of contact clients rely on.

You'll also mentor the team and play a part in the practice's continued growth.

What you'll bring ACA or ACCA qualified with strong post-qualification practice experience A track record managing a client portfolio as the lead contact Confident reviewing accounts, corporation tax and personal tax Commercial awareness — WIP, recoverability, billing and fee management Strong leadership and the credibility to advise business owners directly What you'll be doing Leading a portfolio of clients and owning the relationship end to end Reviewing and finalising accounts and tax before sign-off Identifying advisory and planning opportunities across your clients Mentoring and developing seniors and semi-seniors Supporting the partners on growth, new work and process improvement What's on offer £52,000 – £62,000 depending on experience, plus 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, a company pension and a good benefits scheme, with a clear route to progress in a growing firm
