Reporting to the UK Contracts Manager, you will coordinate site works from pre-delivery planning through installation, commissioning and handover. Your focus will be safe, efficient, cost-effective and high-quality delivery, to agreed programmes, while supporting Project Managers and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Based at our Poole facility in Dorset, the role involves regular regional and nationwide travel to treatment sites, including some overnight stays and occasional visits to our Group headquarters in Ireland.

What you’ll get involved in

Lead installations and coordinate delivery

  • Support Project Managers in delivering treatment projects on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate site and office-based personnel, EPS installation teams, specialist subcontractors, suppliers, lifting operations and other resources.
  • Liaise with project personnel on contract matters and maintain positive communication with client site teams.
  • Represent EPS professionally at customer, contractor and site coordination meetings.
  • Act as a key point of contact and escalation for installation issues, coordinating timely resolution.

Plan, prepare and communicate

  • Plan installation timelines from contract award to completion and handover of all documentation.
  • Carry out pre-installation site visits to check access, lifting requirements, interfaces, enabling and temporary works, and site readiness.
  • Prepare required health, safety and environmental documents, including Construction Safety Plans, Environmental Plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safety Files.
  • Monitor site progress against agreed programmes, proactively addressing delays, constraints and emerging risks.
  • Keep installation documents current and properly filed within project records.

Make safety, environmental performance and quality central

  • Promote and enforce across the installation teams a strong safety culture and compliance with relevant site policies, procedures and safe working practices.
  • Ensure RAMS, lifting plans, permits and other installation documents are prepared, reviewed and communicated.
  • Identify and manage risks around operational assets, lifting, confined spaces, working at height and contractor interfaces.
  • Report accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrences and near misses to the Project Manager and Safety Manager; liaise with safety officers and auditors during inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, inspection and test plans and EPS quality requirements.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, snagging and completion records; ensure defects and non-conformances are recorded and resolved promptly.
  • Capture root causes, corrective and preventative actions and lessons learned, feeding improvements into engineering, production and installation teams.

Manage costs and drive improvement

  • Procure project cost components including labour, parts, consumables and plant.
  • Identify variations, additional works and changed site conditions, communicating promptly to the relevant Project Manager.
  • Seek opportunities to improve efficiency, standardisation and value across our operations.
  • Coordinate entry of project data into the company IFS system.

Contribute to the wider business

  • Attend internal Contracts team meetings in person or remotely.
  • Assist with management and maintenance of the Poole facility and EPS equipment.
  • Develop installation teams through training, mentoring and experiential learning.
  • Undertake other relevant duties consistent with your knowledge and skills as business needs evolve.

What you’ll bring to us

We’re looking for a self-motivated, inquisitive and practical individual with a water industry background, strong communication skills and the flexibility to thrive in a small business environment.

Your background

  • Relevant experience in mechanical installation, construction or site management, preferably in water/wastewater treatment, utilities or process engineering.
