About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Coventry. This is a full-time role supporting both UK and US entities, ideal for someone comfortable working across multiple sets of books and within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for both UK and US companies
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations across multiple entities
- Prepare and submit UK VAT returns and support US sales tax processes
- Manage payroll and employee expenses where required
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
- Work within our CRM and accounting system (Odoo) to manage financial data
- Liaise with external accountants in both the UK and US
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar finance role
- Experience using Odoo is preferred, or ability to learn quickly
- Strong understanding of UK bookkeeping and VAT
- Exposure to US accounting practices is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable
