What you will do
- Strategic Business Partnership
Act as the lead finance business partner to EMEA Sales, Marketing, Service, and Commercial leadership teams, providing financial insight and strategic guidance to support business growth and performance. Influence commercial decision‑making through robust financial analysis, scenario modelling, and actionable recommendations. Challenge and support commercial leaders to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments, maximise profitability, and drive sustainable growth. - Commercial Performance & Pricing Excellence
Drive accountability for commercial performance through regular review of sales results, pricing attainment, margin performance, and policy compliance. Lead financial evaluation and support for new business opportunities, contract renewals, and re‑quoting activities to ensure optimal pricing, profitability, and return on investment. Establish and enhance processes to monitor distributor contract compliance, commercial performance, pricing effectiveness, and margin realisation. - Marketing & Demand Generation Finance
Lead financial tracking and performance analysis of marketing initiatives, demand generation activities, and commercial campaigns. Provide insights and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness, optimise investments, and maximise return on spend. Conduct ongoing reviews of pricing strategies and promotional effectiveness to support revenue growth and profitability objectives. - Forecasting, Planning & Business Insights
Play a key role in regional forecasting and AOP processes, ensuring robust assumptions, risk and opportunity assessments, contingency planning, and accurate financial projections. Partner with business leaders to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive performance against key financial targets. Lead financial support for Investment Business Lifecycle (IBL) business case development and submission. - Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop a team of financial analysts, fostering a high‑performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and business impact. Champion best practices in financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering across the organisation.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required.
Professional qualification in accountancy required.
8+ years of progressive commercial finance experience in a complex, matrixed organisation.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
Demonstrated experience partnering with commercial, sales, and marketing organisations.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business outcomes through financial insight and constructive challenge.
Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of commercial drivers, pricing, and profitability.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights.
Experience leading teams and developing finance talent preferred.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑support capabilities.
