You are a skilled Laboratory Scientist with a passion for histology and customer support. You thrive in a field-based role, enjoy demonstrating instruments, delivering training, and solving technical challenges. You are self-motivated, organized, and excellent at building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
As an Applications Specialist at Epredia, you will be the ambassador of our Anatomical Pathology products, responsible for instrument installations, demonstrations, customer training, and technical support. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Field Service, and Marketing teams to ensure customers receive exceptional service and product expertise.
Location: UK – Remote (up to 75% travel across the UK)
What you will do:
- Conduct instrument installations, product demonstrations, and end-user training (IQ/OQ).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers and partners.
- Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Marketing teams to support product commercialization.
- Maintain detailed service records using ServiceMax.
- Deliver workshops, educational seminars, and presentations at local and national events.
- Support equipment sales proposals and tender documentation as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or biomedical science (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Laboratory Scientist, preferably in histology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools (Salesforce.com / ServiceMax) preferred.
- Self-motivated, independent, and customer-focused.
- Full UK driver’s license.
