An exciting opportunity has arisen, and we are seeking a strong, organised and motivated individual to deliver a proactive, outcome focused response to homelessness issues within Epping Forest. As the senior officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a team of homelessness officers ensuring that you deliver positive solutions to complex problems.
You will hold regular case supervision sessions with staff; you will specialise in and have a detailed understanding and awareness of the Housing Act 1996 (as amended) and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 including related Codes of Guidance and case law. You will be a strong team player who is able to respond creatively in a challenging environment, dedicated to the pursuit of homelessness prevention by promoting early intervention.
The successful candidate will have experience of consistently achieving performance targets in conjunction with prioritising a varying and busy workload. You will also be able to evidence a demonstrable focus for improving services and will be instrumental in shaping and implementing new processes.
