We\’re looking for a motivated and technically minded individual to help deliver an effective CCTV and environmental enforcement support service in this secondment 12-month opportunity for Epping Forest District Council.

The Role

You\’ll ensure the Council\’s CCTV systems run efficiently, carrying out operational checks, gathering and processing evidence, providing first-line technical support, and coordinating maintenance and repairs.

You\’ll also support Environmental Enforcement Officers (EEOs) by managing correspondence and Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs), tracking payments, compiling performance data, and visiting sites to identify or record incidents such as fly-tipping.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a reliable CCTV service and provide technical support.
• Coordinate site surveys, maintenance, and equipment repairs.
• Support EEOs with administrative and data tasks.
• Undertake site visits to collect evidence and report environmental issues.
• Work with the Team Manager to improve service delivery and uphold high standards.

This role requires Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Level 3.
