Your Challenges
We are looking for a Commercial Product Manager to join our dynamic team for a temporary position of 1 year.
This position can be located in Spain or the UK.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire lifecycle, from understanding market trends and competitor landscapes to crafting winning Go-to-Market strategies.
Tasks:
- Drive EMEA Product Success: Manage the product lifecycle (G3-launch to G7-discontinuation) for assigned products across the EMEA region. Develop and execute a Go-to-Market Strategy in alignment with regional and corporate business goals. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders throughout the process.
- Market Expertise and Insights: Own EMEA market share, competitor analysis, and business analytics and reporting (e.g., SWOT/PESTEL analyses). Identify market segments, buyer personas, trends, applications, and customer needs. Leverage data analytics to convert market research into actionable insights.
- Strategic Product Positioning: Define value propositions for assigned products and collaborate with the Regional Marketing Manager to create effective product marketing campaigns and promotions, especially for products facing challenges. Provide strategic pricing input and forecast and budget proposals to leadership. Work with BD Innovation Management and regional stakeholders to give consolidated feedback and commercial directions regarding new product development projects.
- Collaborative Leadership: Partner with Business Development (BD) Product Managers, Marketing Managers (MMs), Sales, Service, Customers, Training teams & PLS to ensure successful product launches, ongoing Product Lifecycle support, and market penetration.
- Marketing Plan: The CPMs are the key drivers of the product line and the GTM strategy. They are responsible for co-creating and driving the success of the Marketing Plan in relation to GTM initiatives, goals, and strategies. CPM and RMM are co-responsible for the ongoing success and revision of the marketing plan.
- New Product Introduction (NPI) Ownership: Manage the entire NPI process in EMEA, from pre-launch preparation to post-launch execution and monitoring, in line with the product launch checklist. This includes training sales and dealers, managing launch readiness, driving stakeholder calls, monitoring performance via dashboards, and defining corrective actions. Ensure handover to the Product Training team after launch.
- Sales Enablement: Develop effective sales enablement materials including pitches, demos, success guides, competitive battle cards, and best practices. Facilitate access to product samples for consumables. Support the Training Team in product training and keep product and competitor information up to date.
- Event Participation: Coordinate with the EMEA event specialist to identify and participate in relevant trade shows and events aligned with regional needs. Represent Eppendorf at industry trade shows and meetings as needed.
- Travel: 35% within the Market Region.
Your Expertise
Education, Training, Professional Experience:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science or a Science-business combination.
- Several years of experience in a similar role.
- Longstanding commercial experience in Marketing or Sales, ideally with cross-cultural teams.
- Experience in the Life Science industry in an international, matrix organization is ideal.
Professional Competencies and Knowledge:
- Strategic thinking and business acumen
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to analyze scientific, financial, and legal documents
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus
- Ability to interpret data and present compelling visual reports to support strategy development
