A Salesforce Developer within Operations is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions and aiding members of the team to solve problems. The role will be responsible for delivering changes to the CRM through coding or declarative approaches, working with all departments within the business to produce effective business processes. This position poses an unusual opportunity to work with an established Salesforce team and build upon existing IT skills to learn key Salesforce skills or to bring Salesforce Development skills you already hold and apply them in a new environment to business scenarios. A positive attitude to learning is absolutely key! We always encourage and offer continuous learning & development opportunities. Also, having a strong commitment to customer service, combined with an interest in user experience, and business processes, and a personable disposition are vital to this role. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end processes and flows on the Salesforce platform.
- Maintaining and producing new functions for the system using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components and Web Technologies.
- Documenting object-level processes and aiding with user guides.
- Assisting in the delivery of system changes and training when required with key users.
- Ensuring the reliability of the system and connected services. Skills & Experience Required
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and related technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, SOQL and Lightning.
- Knowledge of Web Technologies including HTML/CSS/JavaScript Java/Java Frameworks or Apex/Visualforce.
- Experience with web services and APIs.
- Experience debugging cross-system issues, and understanding where bugs might lie due to knowledge of the Salesforce platform, integrations and systems that Salesforce relies on.
- Strong problem solving skills, logical thinking & quick to understand new processes and systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in word processing. Benefits
