As a technical leader, you will bridge the gap between robust system architecture and complex financial domains, collaborating closely with external partners like Sage to deliver a seamless user experience. If you are a platform-focused thinker with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for turning intricate financial requirements into scalable software solutions, this role offers an incredible opportunity for business-wide impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Technical Delivery: Act as the technical lead overseeing the successful design, integration, and architecture of the Embedded Accountancy product ecosystem.
  • System Integration: Collaborate closely with external financial service APIs (specifically Sage) to build robust, compliant, and highly secure ledger and bookkeeping syncing tools.
  • Engineering Leadership: Provide exceptional mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction to engineering squads, fostering high standards for code quality, architectural integrity, and knowledge sharing.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Function as a primary technical translator between executive stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to align technical workflows with commercial business cases.
  • Foster Best Practices: Champion a culture of excellence by establishing documentation standards, performance profiling frameworks, and robust system observability.
