Salary: £33,000 Basic + £5,000 Car Allowance + Uncapped Commission

OTE: £55,000-£70,000+

About the Role

Sick of cold calling? How about only going out to warm, inbound leads? We’re looking for driven, ambitious, and commercially minded Field Sales Consultants to join our growing Partnerships team. This is a high-performance, field-based role focused on winning new business, converting opportunities into revenue, and driving adoption of integrated payments solutions. You’ll take ownership of a defined territory, meeting merchants face-to-face, building your own pipeline, and closing deals across EPOS systems, integrated payments, and standalone terminals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a target-driven environment, enjoys being out in the field, and takes pride in delivering results through strong relationship-building and excellent sales execution.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Territory Ownership
    • Manage and grow a defined local territory
    • Identify high-potential businesses across hospitality, retail, and service sectors
    • Build and execute a structured weekly territory plan
    • Keep CRM records accurate and maintain strong pipeline visibility
  • New Business Development
    • Re-engage aged and unconverted leads
    • Convert opportunities missed by inside sales teams
    • Conduct face-to-face consultations, product demos, and sales meetings
    • Win new business across EPOS systems, integrated payments, and payment terminals
    • Generate your own pipeline through prospecting, referrals, networking, and canvassing
  • Payments Growth
    • Position integrated payments as a core part of every solution
    • Identify and convert standalone terminal opportunities
  • Full Sales Cycle Management
    • Manage opportunities from prospecting through to close and go-live handover
    • Deliver engaging, consultative in-person demos
    • Maintain strong close rates and consistent monthly performance
  • Collaboration & Retention
    • Work closely with Inside Sales, Onboarding, and Customer Success teams
    • Share market insights and best practices
    • Support early-stage customer retention by identifying risks and helping resolve issues proactively

What We’re Looking For

  • Essential Experience
    • Proven field sales or face-to-face sales experience
    • Experience selling POS systems, payments, or merchant services
    • Strong track record of closing deals
    • Comfortable generating leads through in-person prospecting
    • Full UK driving licence
    • Highly resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven
  • Desirable Experience
    • Hospitality or retail sector knowledge
    • SaaS sales experience

Working Pattern

This is a field-first role, with the majority of time spent meeting merchants and building relationships in your territory. You’ll typically spend 1–2 days per week on admin, pipeline management, and lead follow-up, with flexibility based on performance.
