Life at Severn Edge Vets Bewdley

We are looking for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team and work 38.88 hours across 4 days a week with Wednesdays off and a share in the Saturday mornings rota – there are no OOH requirements.

This role will be mainly at our Bewdley site with Thursday shifts to be covered at our Cleobury Mortimer branch.

Severn Edge Veterinary Centre is a welcoming small animal practice in the riverside town of Bewdley, on the edge of Wyre Forest and within easy reach of Kidderminster, Worcester, and the wider West Midlands. As an ISFM Silver Cat Friendly clinic, we are committed to maintaining the highest clinical standards while also supporting learning and development.

Our facilities include digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, multiparameters, endoscopy, microscope, in-house lab equipment, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care. With a friendly and experienced team, strong clinical collaboration, and genuine focus delivering outstanding patient care, Severn Edge offers a great supportive and progressive working environment.

No two days at Severn Edge are ever the same, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, running wards and monitoring recovery
  • Deliver nurse consults and clinics
  • Monitor anaesthetics for first and second ops
  • Support student nurses in their clinical journey

About you

Our ideal candidate will have some experience as a qualified veterinary nurse and be confident in all areas of nursing, including anaesthetics. An interest in clinical coaching is desirable but not essential.
