Tasks:
- Build and maintain high-level, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as the main point of contact.
- Act as the primary contact between internal stakeholders & CMOs on all supply-related discussions including for commercials (& launches where applicable).
- Have a keen eye for detail, with a strong appetite to own & manage day-to-day operations, challenges, timely escalation, improving supply performance and driving for closure.
- Have end-to-end operational visibility & exercise control on all orders & supplies.
- Identify opportunities for improvement through the value chain & foster long-term growth.
- Facilitate logistics overview and movement between HQ & CMOs and local warehousing.
- Follow-up for testing & release of batches at all stages for soonest market availability.
- Collect & share forecast and share analytics with stakeholders for effective procurement and ordering & inventory maintenance.
- Close tracking & monitoring of all orders, tenders & business opportunities to ensure that the business always gets what is required in time.
Profile:
- 3-4 years of professional experience in UK & EU pharmaceutical supply chain (ideally generic pharma), with a strong focus on supply chain.
- Ability to facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals.
- Experience working in multi-country, cross-functional environments.
- Proven ability to analyse sales reports and data. Experience with stock allocation.
- Proven ability to build and maintain solid relationships with customers.
- Demand forecasting and supply planning, production planning, inventory control and optimisation.
- End-to-end supply chain understanding (procurement to distribution).
- Inbound and outbound logistics coordination.
- Warehouse and transportation management.
- Bachelors or Masters in Pharma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of GMP, GDP, or industry-specific standards (especially relevant for pharma/manufacturing).
- Understanding of import/export regulations.
- Coordination with freight forwarders.
- Incoterms and shipping documentation knowledge.
- Adherence to internal SOPs and external legal requirements.
