An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high‑performing sales team covering London, one of the organisation's most strategically important territories. In this field‑based role, you will partner closely with academic research institutions, supporting their scientific objectives through tailored life science workflows and solutions. This role suits someone who enjoys managing complex sales cycles, building long‑term customer relationships and growing a high‑potential region in a fast‑paced, scientific environment.
Key Responsibilities- Own and deliver revenue performance across the London territory, executing strategic business plans at departmental and institutional level.
- Identify, understand and translate customer research goals into aligned technical and commercial solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including product demonstrations, technical discussions, customer training, tender processes, contract negotiations and deal closure.
- Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships, supporting accounts throughout the full product lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain strong market awareness, including life science technology trends, competitive landscape and emerging scientific applications.
- Provide accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts and maintain up‑to‑date activity records in the CRM system.
- Plan and manage weekly field activities, ensuring efficient travel across the London territory.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences required; PhD and/or hands‑on laboratory experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong technical understanding of molecular biology applications, including DNA/RNA purification, PCR, NGS and digital PCR.
- Proven experience in life science sales, including complex sales cycles, strategic.
