We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic professional to join our team as a Technical Consultant to support our customers in pre and post sales activity. The position requires good technical knowledge, a strong attitude in helping others and the ability to work in an international environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Your responsibilities
As a Technical Consultant, you will fulfill a crucial role within Eplan. Your expertise will help our UK and Irish customers to realise their design ambitions and goals with efficiency gains. You will analyse customer processes and know how to bridge the gap between our solutions and the customer\’s needs, working alongside the sales team to present the solution at a pre-sales stage.
Your experience should contain a thorough knowledge of engineering processes, and your know-how to convert customer problems into a clear and workable plan of action. You will deliver implementation projects, including configuring and adapting the software to the customer\’s specific requirements, which will either be on-site or remote.
You are therefore the link between (pre)sales and after-sales. Even after implementation, you\’ll offer customers continuous support to ensure they get the most out of our software.
As an Eplan expert, you will provide specialised training courses, seminars and workshops at customers\’ premises or during events. You will work together with the support team to convey customer feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.
Qualifications
- Analytical Skills and Troubleshooting abilities
- Professional Services and Consulting experience
- Five years of knowledge in control system design & build or similar (advantageous if within the Process, Energy or building services sector)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience with EPLAN software is a plus
- Degree or HND/ HNC in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Able to travel and meet with our customer base across the UK and Ireland
- UK and Ireland Work visas already in place
