What we’re hiring for:
We are a growing fintech organization looking to add a Senior Business Analyst to our Delivery team! This role will be for our EMEA delivery team.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising between the customers and the internal tech team.
- Understanding and analyzing customer’s business needs.
- Acting as an information source and communicator between multiple parties/teams, including but not limited to:
- Gathering business requirements from customers.
- Providing business analysis based on the requirements for solution design.
- Assisting Client PM in providing business impact analysis and milestone definition for projects.
- Preparing documents for internal tech teams for interpreting business requirements.
- Assisting internal tech teams for requirements details explanation during development and testing.
- Supporting customer implementations, including issue capturing/preliminary analysis/reporting/cause analysis/business impact analysis/etc.
- Coordination with different teams for troubleshooting.
- Organizing and summarizing issue report analysis for internal team reference.
- Facilitating root cause analysis and assisting the internal team for permanent enhancement.
- Assisting support team for operational issues.
- Contributing to internal product enhancement.
- Providing subject matter expertise to our clients and colleagues.
- Supporting our Business Development team in technical pre-sales exercises with potential customers.
- Supporting our Business Development team in answering RFI/RFP/RFQ (technical focus) and other customer proposals.
- Limited travelling as required.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in financial services with a focus on payments and card issuing.
- 10+ years of experience in Requirement Definition.
- Experience in customer-facing roles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Analytical mindset.
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly, visually and in writing.
- Experience working with APIs.
- Strong technical understanding, capability and willingness to learn and develop skills on a daily basis.
- Very driven and self-motivated, able to work autonomously.
- A team player with a ‘can-do’, entrepreneurial attitude that thrives in an agile, ever-changing world.
- Experience or knowledge in the payments industry, especially card processing and issuing.
- Knowledge of ISO8583/Credit Card/Prepaid and Debit cards/Digital Wallets (Tokenization)/domestic payment networks/PCI DSS.
Preferred experiences and skills:
- Knowledge of AWS.
- Knowledge of data encryption and decryption.
- Experience or knowledge of cloud-based distributed processing systems.
