Your mission
Your mission is to drive sustainable revenue growth and strengthen strategic partnerships by acting as the primary commercial interface between Epiroc UK & Ireland, key accounts and partners. Through proactive account ownership, structured partner development, and strong onâsite engagement, you will maximise value creation, improve partner performance, and position Epiroc as a trusted longâterm business partner.
Responsibilities
- Account management â Building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Sales development â Identifying opportunities for growth within accounts and developing strategies to capitalise on them. Capture and consolidate business opportunities so that all Epiroc products are given the best opportunity to succeed in the market.
- Partner development â Conduct structured quarterly business reviews with partners supported by joint business plans with shared KPIs, performance scorecards, and ongoing training and marketing support.
- Strategic planning & market analysis â Developing and executing strategic plans for account retention within the region. Contribute and execute the Territory Management Plan strategy for UK & Ireland, working closely with the National Sales Manager.
- Communication & collaboration â Serving as the primary point of contact between the company and the accounts in the region.
- Problem solving â Addressing any issues or challenges that arise with accounts in the region promptly and effectively. This may involve troubleshooting technical issues, resolving disputes, or finding creative solutions to meet customer needs.
- Maximising the use of Epiroc systems such as Salesforce and collaborating with the sales team to develop and implement new processes to streamline sales efficiency. Measure sales performance, opportunities and lost orders through effective use of the CRM.
Your Profile
We are looking for an energetic, driven key account manager with a solid understanding of the mining environment. You must be resultsâoriented with the ability to handle tight deadlines and work under pressure, whilst keeping the focus on customer satisfaction at all times. You should be able to demonstrate a successful track record of profitable growth in previous roles. We require a proactive, structured person who listens and works with others to achieve the desired results by applying your knowledge of business, account management and sales to provide the most optimal solutions.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience within the mining or tunnelling industry
- 5+ years of proven sales and key account management experience
- Customerâorientated mentality
- Selfâmotivated and wellâorganised working profile
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all types of stakeholders
- Willingness to travel within the region as a fieldâbased role
Desirable Requirements
- Previous use of Salesforce
- Business management experience
- Knowledge of Epiroc portfolio and customer base
- Degree or similar qualification within mining and construction
Location and Travel
The role is fieldâbased and offers location flexibility across England, Wales or Northern Ireland. Extensive travel is required.
