We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced EMEA region Employment Counsel to support our Fortune 500 technology client! This is a fully remote role!

Epiq Counsel is an innovative legal services talent provider that offers meaningful in-house legal secondment work and flexibility to sophisticated and credentialed lawyers and legal professionals. Our lawyers work on a wide variety of legal matters for Fortune 500 clients.

We are actively seeking EMEA Employment Counsel attorneys located in the UK with the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience) in employment law, preferably within a multinational corporation or law firm.
  • Qualified to practice as a UK solicitor or equivalent EU/overseas.
  • Strong understanding of employment law regulations and practices across multiple EMEA countries.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with technological capabilities, client support tools, and artificial intelligence in legal practice.
  • Familiarity with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements.

Support our multinational corporate client on the following:

  • Provide day-to-day legal advice on employment law queries, including but not limited to employment contracts, role changes, terminations, performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters, and regulatory compliance.
  • Respond to and support general employment law queries, including information and consultation requirements with employee representatives where applicable.
  • Advise on matters involving high legal risk, brand/PR risk, and senior leadership, such as executive terminations or regional implementation of programs and policies.
  • Collaborate with external law firms to provide employment law support in up to 7 countries (Denmark, Finland, Israel, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Sweden).
