We are actively seeking an Employment Lawyer to support our client, a major e-commerce travel brand in the tech industry, for a 6-month fixed term contract. This near-term position is hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite) out of our client’s office in London (Zone 1).
We are actively seeking an Employment Lawyer with the following credentials:
- ~7+ years’ post‑qualification experience (qualified lawyer in UK or other European Jurisdiction), with a focus on global employment law.
- ~Willingness to work in a hybrid role requiring 1-2 days per week in-office attendance in Central London, Zone 1.
Support on Employee Relations (“ER”) matters in high volume countries (Spain, Switzerland and India).
HR Data Subject Access Request (“DSARs”) (UK and EMEA).
First point of contact for EMEA related queries from GTA including early careers team (non-competes, contract interpretation, offer withdrawal etc.), HR Operations queries including background screening questions, Compensation and benefits queries (not projects), and Mobility/Immigration queries.
Employment law support on commercial contracts (misclassification, TUPE etc.).
Support vendor/e-Talent matters with the procurement team.
Support additional ER matters relating to performance/conduct/absence/parental rights/discrimination in EMEA and LATAM as they arise.
Lead and support the creation of standard templates in keeping with the client's style, approach and risk appetite.
Provide clear, timely advice to business, product and tech teams on commercial, regulatory, consumer protection, marketing, and other relevant legal issues, including managing pre-litigation disputes where needed.
