Be part of something extraordinary at Epilepsy Society. We are seeking a dynamic Staff Nurse (maternity cover) to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate who is seeking to make a meaningful impact. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our Care Services team in a charity that provides world leading support for people with epilepsy through Care, Research and Advocacy.
You will be working in a bright, modern care home with nursing needs. The home supports people with complex requirements including difficult-to-treat seizures and associated learning difficulties. You will strive for a person centred, caring and emotionally supportive environment, in which people are not defined by their condition. Sharing the values of protecting an individual's dignity and promoting well-being at all times is an integral part of the job. You will have a good understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, equality and diversity and all other current practices.
You will manage a small team of support workers and be able to lone work. Our Staff Nurses (RMN, RGN, RNLD) work as part of a multidisciplinary team, who assist the Service Manager in the day to day running of the home which accommodates 20 residents. The post holder should demonstrate our people values of CAIRO (Caring, Accountable, Improving, Respectful and Open.)
