Hours: Full-time 34.5 hours per week over 5 days

Location: Hybrid working (a minimum of 40% working in the office in Leeds)

Salary: £30,812.94 - £34,011.72

Contract: Fixed Term for 12 months (with possibility of extension)

DBS: An enhanced check will be required

About the Role

Join our Peer Support team and help bring people together through shared lived experience, connection, and understanding. We are dedicated to providing supportive, high-quality, and person-centred services that empower people to live well with epilepsy.

Your Role

As a Peer Support Officer, you will play a key role within our Services team, helping to deliver compassionate, high-quality peer support for people living with epilepsy across the UK. In this varied and rewarding role, you will:

  • Empower volunteers – providing remote support and supervision to a dedicated team of volunteers and Independent Group Leaders, ensuring they feel confident, valued, and equipped in their roles.
  • Facilitate support sessions – Support the delivery of virtual groups and online events, creating safe, welcoming, and nurturing environments where people can share experiences and engage in meaningful discussions.
  • Support growth and development – contribute to the development of our peer support services and help expand the reach and impact of our services.
  • Deliver meaningful support – work directly with service users to ensure everyone accessing our services feels heard, connected, and supported throughout their journey with epilepsy.
