About Us
Epicurium is a fast-growing national wholesaler specialising in some of the UK’s most exciting, innovative and trend-led snacking brands. We supply forward-thinking convenience retailers, foodservice operators, workplaces, online retailers and other B2B customers across the UK, helping them discover and successfully sell emerging challenger brands and on-trend products. This is not a traditional “brand marketing” role working on one big consumer brand. It’s a hands‑on commercial marketing role within a growing wholesale business, helping customers discover, understand, range and buy exciting products across a wide portfolio of fast‑growing brands.
The Role
We’re looking for a capable, commercially minded and hands‑on Senior B2B Trade Marketing & eCommerce Executive to take ownership of a broad range of trade marketing, digital commerce and customer engagement activity. This is a varied role where you’ll combine:
- Trade marketing
- eCommerce and website management
- Campaign creation
- Brochure and sales collateral production
- Trade shows and events
- Digital merchandising and customer engagement
You’ll be a key part of helping customers discover exciting new products, increasing online engagement and supporting the growth of both Epicurium and the brands we represent. This role suits someone who enjoys creating and delivering practical marketing activity that directly drives customer engagement and sales — not someone looking for a purely strategic or “brand management” position.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Marketing & Campaigns
- Create and deliver B2B trade marketing campaigns for new product launches, seasonal activity, promotions and supplier initiatives.
- Produce engaging customer‑facing content, sales tools and launch materials.
- Translate consumer trends and brand stories into commercially effective B2B messaging.
- Work closely with supplier and brand partners on joint marketing activity and launches.
- Support sales and customer service teams with effective marketing collateral and product messaging.
eCommerce & Website Management
- Manage and continually improve our SaaS‑based B2B eCommerce platform and digital touchpoints.
- Maintain and improve product content, merchandising, landing pages, category pages and promotional activity.
- Help improve customer journeys, product discovery and basket growth.
- Support ongoing development of our WordPress‑based content and frontend websites.
- Work with external developers and digital partners where specialist support is needed.
- Use analytics and customer behaviour data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Email Marketing & Digital Content
- Create and manage customer email campaigns using Mailchimp.
- Produce regular digital brochures, flyers, launch packs and customer updates.
- Create commercially effective content that helps customers discover new products and trends.
- Support SEO and wider digital marketing activity where appropriate.
- Produce engaging and professional digital and print materials using tools such as Canva and Adobe InDesign.
- Create brochures, flyers, launch sheets, promotional materials and trade show graphics.
- Ensure brand consistency and high‑quality presentation across all customer touchpoints.
Trade Shows & Events
- Plan, organise and deliver trade shows and customer events throughout the year.
- Organise stands, displays, printed materials, samples and event logistics.
- Work directly on stands during live events and support follow‑up activity afterwards.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, creative and genuinely enjoys getting stuck into the practical side of marketing and eCommerce. You’ll probably suit this role if you:
- Enjoy creating practical marketing activity that drives customer action and sales.
- Are confident managing websites, email campaigns and digital content.
- Like variety and are comfortable handling multiple projects at once.
- Are commercially minded and understand that marketing needs to deliver results.
- Enjoy working with exciting challenger brands and emerging trends.
- Want a role where you can make a visible impact within a growing business.
- Are hands‑on and comfortable executing work yourself rather than simply managing agencies or junior teams.
Skills & Experience
Essential / Highly Desirable
- Experience in trade marketing, digital marketing, eCommerce or a similar commercially focused marketing role.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Experience using platforms such as: SaaS eCommerce platforms; Canva; Adobe InDesign; Mailchimp; WordPress.
- Good copywriting and content creation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good technical aptitude and confidence working with digital platforms.
- Commercial awareness and a customer‑focused mindset.
Useful but Not Essential
- Experience within FMCG, food & drink, wholesale, retail or foodservice.
- Experience organising trade shows or events.
- SEO, Google Analytics or digital merchandising experience.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
You do not need to be a developer, but you must be technically confident and comfortable learning and working with web‑based platforms and digital tools.
This Role Will Suit You If…
- You enjoy building and delivering campaigns yourself.
- You like combining creativity with commercial thinking.
- You enjoy working across websites, email, design, launches and events.
- You want to help grow exciting emerging brands in a fast‑moving category.
- You prefer a hands‑on SME environment where your work has visible impact.
This Role Probably Won’t Suit You If…
- You’re looking for a pure consumer brand management role.
- You want a heavily strategic management‑only position.
- You prefer working in a large corporate structure with narrow responsibilities.
- You only want to focus on social media or brand awareness activity.
What We Offer
- Extra day off for your birthday
- Informal and supportive working environment
- Free drinks and snacks
- Opportunity to work closely with some of the UK’s most exciting challenger snack brands
- Genuine responsibility and opportunity to shape the growth of a fast‑growing business
How to Apply
