We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our quirky coffee and wine shop. This role is perfect for someone who loves creating a welcoming atmosphere, enjoys working closely with a small team, and has a passion for great coffee, quality wine, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the coffee and wine shop
- Create, manage, and maintain staff rotas
- Monitor stock levels and complete ordering
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards
- Manage bookings and customer enquiries
- Support and train staff in café and barista duties
- Maintain high service standards and a warm, friendly environment
- Use initiative to solve problems and keep operations running smoothly
- Bring creativity to the role generating new ideas, events, or offerings that attract customers and grow the business
- Experience creating and managing social media content to promote the business and events
- Build strong relationships with customers and the local community
About You
- Experience in a café, coffee shop, bar, or similar hospitality environment
- Confident barista skills (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Strong organisational skills, especially with staff scheduling
- Comfortable taking bookings and managing customer flow
