Overview

Epicor Software Corporation provides industry-specific business software designed around the needs of manufacturing, distribution, retail, and services organizations. The Technical Application Specialist is part of a team providing support for the global strategic e-commerce solution. This is a dynamic role for a self-starter who is a strong problem solver with good analytical and communication skills, able to work as part of a growing global team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client calls in a professional manner, providing solutions and advice where appropriate
• MaintainService Quality levels
• Ensure all issues are handled in a timely manner
• Review outstanding issues and keep clients informed of progress

Desired Skills and Experience

• Background or previous experience in a customer support environment
• Experience in supporting enterprise or other business applications
• Problem solving within a multi-layered technology stack

The Person

• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills with strong customer-facing abilities
• Ability to effectively communicate technical details to all audiences
• Collaborate across teams to identify root causes and drive issues to resolution
• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team

Nice to Have (Not Essential)

• Experience supporting Magento eCommerce or other out-of-the-box e-commerce solutions
• Understanding of web technologies; NGINX
• Knowledge/experience of HTML or CSS
• Understanding of SSL certificates and encryption fundamentals
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux fundamentals
