EPIC Housing is the proud custodian of approximately 1,400 homes across North Staffordshire with properties in Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and the Staffordshire Moorlands. Our homes come in two flavours; ‘social’ and ‘affordable’ rents and our tenants are the real VIPs in our world.

About The Role
Role Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the safety and cleaning of designated internal and external communal areas, offices, and community buildings belonging to EPIC.
- To carry out periodic inspections and compliance checks of properties with communal access/areas.
- To identify, resolve or report Health & Safety issues as appropriate.
- To take an active part in estate improvements and carry out associated tasks to a high standard.
- To comply with Health and Safety and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.
- Complete periodic checks on water and fire alarms at designated sites.
- Ensure the daily opening and closing procedures of the Normacot Grange Office and Centre.
- Support the preparation of Normacot Grange Office and Centre for individual and team sessions and community events.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.
- To carry out vehicle checks to any company vehicle you may have access to.
- Coordinate waste disposal and recycling activities.
- Provide assistance during emergencies and coordinate with relevant authorities.
- To act as a front-line representative for the company.
General Obligations – All Employees
- Take accountability for individual areas of personal and professional development.
- Effectively manage own workload ensuring mandatory training and company policy attestations are completed.
- Encourage a working environment and culture that aligns with EPIC’s values.
- Maximising outputs by utilising and promoting EPIC’s information technology systems.
