Become an integral part of our Customer Experience team, where you will be at the forefront of shaping our customer journeys. You will build on Bell’s Strategic Imperative to Champion Customer Experience and reinforce our commitment to put the customer first in everything we do. Design innovative, customer-centric processes, policies, products and services, while upholding our Customer-First Commitments to make it easier for customers to do business with Bell.

Employees whose primary responsibilities are the installation, maintenance and repair of services provided to residential and small business customers. May perform installation, maintenance, repair and coin collection of payphone services.

Education Requirements
  • A High School Graduation Certificate combined with one (1) year of completed post-secondary education at a recognized learning institution in good academic standing
  • OR A High School Graduation Certificate combined with:
  • One (1) year of continuous related field work experience as a technician in a communications technology firm/department
  • OR one (1) year experience in a skilled trades position
Ability Requirements of the Position
  • Physical: Climb poles on a daily basis (using ladders, spurs and other tools)
  • Ability to distinguish colours
  • Able to lift up to 70 lbs
  • Work effectively aloft
  • Ability to maneuver and climb ladders extending up to 28 ft. high that supports a max weight of 375 lbs

  • Computer skills - Email: Outlook and MSN, Intranet/Internet, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word

Successful completion of physical abilities test (as per job demands matrix) may be a requirement of the job. Flying in helicopters and fixed wing aircraft to remote locations and oil rigs may be a requirement. Travel using various modes of transportation in all kinds of weather. Hold a valid, in good standing, regular driver's license (Class 5). Flexible to work 40 hours per week including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
