Responsibilities
- To ensure on-time commissioning of the onshore substation that is ready for handover to operation.
- Establish and manage the onshore commissioning organisation within the full electrical scope, including installation, quality, and commissioning of LV,MV,HV, protection, and SCADA equipment.
- Manage the overall commissioning planning within the agreed construction schedule.
- Coordinate commissioning activities with main suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Coordinate project commissioning activities.
- Secure quality of commissioning works and documentation.
- Report installation and commissioning progress/participate in commissioning meetings.
- Ensure that quality is within the agreed standard during construction.
- Ensure all commissioning is completed in due time and to the agreed standard.
- Give input to Design Critical to Quality (CTQ)
- After contract signing, ensure updating of Critical to Quality (CTQ) and control of CTQ is transferred to Quality Activity Schedule (QAS)
- Ensure compliance with Technical Employers\’ Requirements in product commissioning.
Qualification/Requirement
- Experienced with onshore substations.
- Experienced with connection to the National grid.
- Excellent stakeholder mgmt.
- Can lead and motivate a team of supervisors.
- Can evaluate and mitigate time schedules.
- Five years of relevant project experience is required.
- Good project management and coordination skills, as well as a talent for driving solutions to achieve outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Commissioning experience in MV/HV equipment, SCADA, low voltage and utility installations and components.
- Experience with onshore substations work.
