Are you an ambitious engineer ready to bridge the gap between traditional oil and gas and the renewable energy transition? At EP, we partner with major energy companies, independent operators and pioneering renewable energy businesses to design smarter, cleaner engineering solutions. As we continue to grow our global impact, we are looking for a dynamic Senior Energy Systems Engineer to join our flat, collaborative team and help drive engineering consultancy forward.
The Role
This is not just a number-crunching role. You will work closely with clients, contribute to high-impact engineering studies, and help shape solutions across both conventional and low-carbon energy projects. In this role, you will:
- Consult and design - Deliver high-quality engineering studies for a wide range of onshore and offshore projects.
- Lead client relationships - Act as a trusted technical adviser, building strong relationships with key global stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers - Support and guide junior team members within a fast-paced, agile consultancy environment.
- Drive decarbonisation - Contribute to internal developments and client studies focused on energy efficiency, performance improvement and the energy transition.
About You
You are a flexible, forward-thinking engineer with strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to work across a variety of technical challenges. You will bring:
- Engineering background - A degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Energy or a related engineering discipline.
- Relevant experience - 2-7 years of experience in technical consultancy, an operator environment, or a similar engineering role.
- Strong communication skills - Fluency in both technical and business English.
- Core competencies - A solid understanding of risk management, strong analytical skills and a proven ability to deliver high-quality work to deadlines.
- Specialist expertise - Strong experience in at least one of the following areas: Onshore or offshore safety and risk consultancy, Facilities engineering design, including static or rotating equipment, Asset integrity, performance and maintenance optimisation.
