Exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in the dynamic world of B2B events. As a Trainee Sales Executive, you’ll learn the full sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship building to closing deals, while working on high-quality conferences and exhibitions. You will be selling delegate passes and sponsorship packages to senior decision-makers across the Oil & Gas and New energy industries.\\n\\nOver the years the business has grown to serve thousands of customers every year across 8 international events held across Europe, North America the Middle East, and Asia.

Committed to providing the best experience.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * Prospecting & Lead Generation – Research and identify potential delegates and sponsors within target markets.\\n\\n * Outbound Sales – Engage prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to promote event participation.\\n\\n * Relationship Building – Develop rapport with clients, understanding their needs to offer tailored event solutions.\\n\\n * Sales Cycle Management – Support the sales process from initial contact through to contract completion.\\n\\n * Collaboration – Working directly with the Sales/Event Directors and event production teams to align sales strategies with event goals.\\n\\n * Reporting – Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales updates to management…\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer\\n\\n * Comprehensive training programme covering sales techniques, negotiation, and industry knowledge.\\n\\n * Clear progression path into senior sales or account management roles.\\n\\n * Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.\\n\\n * Opportunity to attend and network at live events.\\n\\n * Opportunity for some remote working\\n\\nSkills & Attributes\\n\\n * Good communication skills, personable, particularly face to face\\n\\n * A knowledge of or interest in general business issues\\n\\n * Confident on the phone and comfortable speaking with senior professionals\\n\\n * Good communication skills both verbal and written\\n\\n * Self-motivated and determined with a strong sense of personal initiative\\n\\n * Organised, with good time management\\n\\n * A quick learner\\n\\n * Good attention to detail\\n\\n * A team player\\n\\n * Calm under pressure\\n\\n * Competence in Microsoft Office and keen to embrace and learn to use new technology and IT systems automated marketing and CRM systems\\n\\n * Eagerness to learn about the conference/events industry and all it represents\\n\\n * Available to travel if needed
