We are currently recruiting an experienced Composite Laminator to join a leading motorsport manufacturer operating at the highest level of the industry.
Shift Patterns:
- Days: Core hours 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Nights: Core hours 6:00pm - 2:30am, Monday to Thursday
- Some flexibility available on night shift start times
Key Responsibilities:
- Hand lay-up of carbon fibre and advanced composite materials
- Working with pre-preg, wet lay-up, and core materials
- Laying components into moulds to exact specifications
- Vacuum bagging and preparation for cure (autoclave / oven)
- Following engineering drawings, ply books, and work instructions
- Maintaining the highest quality standards expected in F1 and elite motorsport
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Composite Laminator within Formula 1 or high-level motorsport
- Strong understanding of composite lay-up techniques and materials
- Ability to work to tight tolerances and demanding deadlines
- High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Able to work independently and as part of a production team
- Right to work in the UK
