This is primarily a forward-looking role. You will build something new: a next-generation data platform with AI at its core, designed to surface revenue intelligence across the broader business rather than simply collect and present data. You'll day-to-day work with our Head of Insights and be working across multiple business areas, teams and regions, with reach across Finance, Sales, Back Office, Brand and Retail Account Management. What connects all areas is the same approach: think clearly, move things forward, work well with people, and keep the focus on outcomes rather than activity. Building what's next, while keeping what works running well!
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Leading the development of a new data pipeline with AI at its core - working closely with developers to shape what gets built, in what order, and to what standard.
- Driving the roadmap from early stages through to launch - owning the direction, making decisions as you go, and adapting the plan as you learn without losing momentum.
- Connecting across the business to make sure this platform lands well - it will touch revenue streams across multiple functions, so bringing the right people along is as important as the build itself.
- Keeping a clear eye on strategy - understanding where this platform needs to get to and making sure day-to-day decisions are moving towards that goal.
- Surfacing risks and blockers early and coming with a view on how to address them - not to raise them, but to keep things moving.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Someone who leads from the front on complex programmes - setting direction, making calls, and seeing things through with confidence.
- Comfortable working directly with developers - you don't need to write code, but you need to be a credible and engaged partner to people who do.
- A clear, practical approach to priorities and roadmaps - you make sensible plans and adapt them without drama when things shift.
- Genuinely curious about AI and data - you think about what's possible, not just what's been done before.
- Enough strategic awareness to hold the bigger picture even when the detail is demanding.
- Honest and early with risks and issues - you don't sit on problems, and you come with a point of view on how to solve them.
- The kind of energy that keeps a team in good shape - you're good to work with, and people feel the difference.
HOW WE WORK:
We're collaborative and direct, and we try to keep things practical. People are trusted to own their area, speak up early if something is off track, and work through problems together rather than letting them sit. Decisions get made through discussion and context, not a lot of ceremony, and we value people who can be clear, constructive and focused on moving the work forward.
If this sounds like the kind of challenge you're looking for - we'd like to hear from you!
