  • Lead vendor and contractor consolidation efforts across the group—especially for major software license providers
  • Own and maintain an up-to-date vendor/contractor inventory, including processes to keep information accurate and current (automation/AI-enabled improvements encouraged)
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into procurement strategies and outcomes

You’ll Be Successful In This Role If You

  • Deliver cost reductions in our portfolio of technology services including licensing and agency fees
  • Identify and consolidate major license providers and ensure alignment across the group
  • Establish and maintain a reliable vendor inventory with a clear, repeatable process to keep it current
  • Create strong stakeholder trust by balancing commercial value, risk, and operational needs

What You’ll Be Doing (daily)

  • Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders on procurement topics and upcoming needs
  • Managing renewals and running negotiations to secure better commercial terms and discounts
  • Updating and improving the vendor/contractor inventory and related governance processes
  • Monitoring vendor performance and ensuring contracts remain fit-for-purpose
  • Using data (e.g., Excel and procurement/ERP tools) to support decisions and track savings

What You Should Bring

  • 3–4+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
  • Proven experience in modern IT procurement (essential)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency with typical ERP/procurement tools and strong Excel skills
  • A senior mindset and confidence working independently across multiple stakeholders

Your track record

  • Demonstrated success negotiating contracts and improving commercial terms
  • Experience managing vendors and keeping procurement data/inventories accurate and usable

Your competency profile

  • Negotiation excellence: You secure strong outcomes while maintaining healthy vendor relationships
  • Stakeholder management: You align multiple teams and priorities to move decisions forward
  • Analytical thinking: You use data to identify savings opportunities and support recommendations
  • Process orientation: You build repeatable, scalable procurement lifecycle practices
  • Ownership: You take end-to-end accountability for results and follow-through
  • Clear communication: You can explain options, trade-offs, and recommendations simply and credibly
