Then you have an opportunity to join EPAM as the Head of Azure Cloud Solution Architecture, leading our UK Azure Solution Architecture practice and working with highly skilled and engaged teams across the globe on Azure solutions design, build and cloud migration opportunities.

Joining us at Senior Director/Director level, this is a fantastic opportunity to position yourself in the centre of the UK Cloud Leadership team with a view of helping expand the Practice during this new age of consulting.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the team of Azure experts serving your target geography and industries
• Ensure continuous development of Cloud capabilities including people development, onboarding new products and services, developing collateral, etc.
• Drive EPAM’s Azure go-to-market strategy, organize and participate in various events, and do publications and presentations within and beyond the organization
• Work with EPAM Sales and Account management team to achieve practice and regional business plan and client acquisition targets
• Participate in the entire cycle of pre-sale activities, including RFP processing, proposal development and direct communications with potential clients
• Design and prototype Azure solutions, create solution architecture documents covering profound technical aspects of the implementation
• Analyze existing application portfolios, develop next-gen application architecture, transformation and modernization roadmap
• Conduct Azure solutions architecture review and create audit reports
• Service design and continuously improve our methodology and consulting offering
• Lead the client through the technical and organizational challenges of Azure transformations, creating thought leadership on Azure solutions and hybrid clouds
• Work with EPAM’s architecture teams, sales/pre-sales teams, account managers, heads of business units and EPAM competency centres, providing technical guidance and solution designs
• Develop and present project proposals, kick off new projects, drive initial discovery phase working with EPAM project management and clients driving prototypes and proof of concept
• Serve as internal trusted advisor, ensuring internal product management, and managing access to early release programs and product roadmaps
• Communicate with and manage business stakeholders to understand context and set strategic direction
• Chair and lead meetings, such as workshops, reviews and governance bodies

Requirements

• Industry visionary and avid technologist at heart, with deep expertise in Cloud Architecture, IT Service Delivery, Program Management and Strategy
• An engineer/architecture background and an ability to deep dive into technical details is key as all our Director level+ employees can look at the finer technical aspects when required
• History of successful Cloud migration to Azure and hybrid/private Cloud
• Strong hands-on experience in managing a complete set of activities related to the project delivery in a company such as SOW negotiation, project initiation, client management, project delivery and execution
• As Head of Azure, you will leverage your expertise in Azure AI offerings to design and implement innovative, client-centric solutions that enhance business value and drive digital transformation
• Deep knowledge in solution architecture, including web services, relational and non-relational databases, and front-end and/or back-end technologies
• Good exposure to Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration (CI) and automated deployment
• High achiever with a passion for success with a history of driving large scale Azure transformation projects and successful implementation of complex Azure solutions showcasing modern cloud architecture
• Strong communication skills, solutions selling skills and ability to present complex technical issues to both business and technical audiences
