We're looking for a Practice Lead – Google Workspace Migrations and Enablement to join our team in the UK in a hybrid working mode. We are seeking a strategic and technical leader in the UK to establish and lead our Google Workspace Migration Practice across Western Europe. This role evolves from hands‑on expertise to practice leadership, focusing on building a specialized migration practice, defining service methodologies and enabling enterprise clients to successfully adopt Google Workspace at scale. You will create service offerings, shape strategy and ensure world‑class delivery standards while leveraging your technical background and business acumen to drive client transformation.
Responsibilities
- Architect and scale a specialized Google Workspace migration practice from the ground up, defining service offerings and delivery standards.
- Develop high-impact offerings that articulate the strategic advantages of Google Workspace for enterprise clients.
- Provide frameworks and business cases to help clients justify migration from platforms like Microsoft 365.
- Recruit, mentor and lead a high-performing team of migration engineers and specialists.
- Lead complex, end‑to‑end transitions from legacy environments (Microsoft 365, Exchange, Lotus Notes) to Google Workspace, including mail, collaboration and productivity solutions.
- Develop internal training programs and playbooks to enable consistent, high‑quality deployment and change management.
- Drive innovation by integrating Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capabilities and AI‑driven solutions such as Gemini to automate workflows and enhance productivity.
- Engage with executive stakeholders to advise on migration strategies and align technical execution with business objectives.
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading Google Workspace migrations and/or deployments in enterprise environments.
- Experience managing technical teams or leading departmental functions at Manager or Senior Manager level.
- Deep understanding of identity management, DNS, mail routing and API‑based migration tools.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into business value and articulate strategies to C‑level executives.
- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills, with the ability to drive both strategy and execution.
Nice to have
- Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Familiarity with implementing generative AI productivity tools such as Gemini for Google Workspace.
- Prior experience developing scalable methodologies for cloud migrations in consulting or enterprise settings.
