We are seeking an experienced Senior Calypso Business Analyst to support a Calypso platform upgrade from v18 to v19. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing the impact of the upgrade, documenting requirements, coordinating testing, and ensuring a smooth transition across front, middle, and back-office functions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse the functional and technical differences between Calypso v18 and v19, assessing impact across business processes.
  • Gather, document, and manage business and functional requirements for the upgrade.
  • Work closely with business users (front, middle, and back office) to understand current workflows and identify areas affected by the upgrade.
  • Support gap analysis, identifying changes to functionality, workflows, and integrations.
  • Liaise with development, QA, and infrastructure teams throughout the upgrade lifecycle.
  • Define and support test scenarios, test cases, and coordinate UAT.
  • Assist with defect triage, resolution tracking, and regression testing.
  • Document changes to configuration, workflows, and reporting.
  • Support data migration and reconciliation activities where required.
  • Provide post-implementation support and hypercare.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Calypso environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Calypso across multiple modules (e.g. Trade Capture, Market Data, Risk, Collateral, Settlements, Accounting).
  • Direct experience with Calypso version upgrades (v18 to v19 highly advantageous).
  • Solid understanding of trade lifecycle and derivatives/treasury products.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, gap analysis, and test coordination.
  • Familiarity with SQL for data analysis and validation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
