We are looking for a Senior AEM Architect to join our Digital Engagement Practice (DEP) in London, United Kingdom, in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will work closely with a major healthcare client, supporting the evolution of their digital platform built on Adobe technologies. You will act as a senior technical authority and trusted advisor, providing architectural leadership while partnering with client stakeholders and managing collaboration with an existing vendor team. This position requires a strong hands-on architect with excellent leadership and consulting skills who can guide platform strategy, ensure solution quality and drive delivery across distributed teams. The role requires 3 days a week on client site in Marlow.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end architecture leadership for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) based digital platforms
  • Design and implement scalable, secure and high-performing solutions leveraging the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem
  • Act as a technical proxy and architectural authority for the client, coordinating and overseeing the work of the existing vendor delivery team
  • Guide and mentor engineering teams on AEM best practices, design patterns and implementation standards
  • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Lead architecture design for AEM Sites, Assets and related Adobe platform capabilities
  • Provide strategic guidance on platform modernization, integrations and performance optimization
  • Work closely with client leadership and technical teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and digital strategy
  • Contribute to technology consulting engagements, providing recommendations on platform improvements, innovation opportunities and digital experience strategy
  • Ensure governance, architectural standards and quality assurance across implementations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar, or strong relevant work experience
  • Extensive experience as a Solution Architect delivering enterprise-scale digital experience platforms
  • Strong, in-depth expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) including AEM Sites, AEM Assets and core platform components, and proven experience designing and implementing solutions on the Adobe Experience Cloud stack
  • Strong understanding of AEM architecture, integration patterns and cloud deployment models
  • Experience working with Salesforce ecosystem solutions, particularly Marketing Cloud and/or Commerce Cloud, is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and overseeing vendor delivery teams in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong technology consulting skills with the ability to manage relationships across multi-level stakeholder groups
  • Experience working in large enterprise or regulated industries (healthcare experience is a plus)
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate effectively in client-facing environments and drive technical decision-making
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model with three days per week onsite in Marlow
