Overview
In this role you will lead the design and deployment of AI and GenAI solutions that drive measurable business impact in enterprise environments. You will collaborate across architecture, engineering, and research to build scalable data and AI platforms supporting digital transformation. You will prototype, evaluate, and refine AI systems, ensure robust performance, and guide long-term reliability. The position offers engagement with cutting-edge tools and cloud-based AI tech to shape scalable AI workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI/GenAI solutions with business impact
- Develop and evaluate AI/GenAI prototypes and agents using specialized tools
- Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
- Design and deploy AI agents using frameworks like LangChain and AutoGen
- Deploy models and applications on Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Databricks Mosaic Gateway; containerize with Docker
- Follow DevOps best practices (CI/CD, testing, linting, GitHub workflows)
- Write modular Python code with OOP and frameworks like Pydantic and PyTorch
- Emphasize reproducibility and performance in end-to-end delivery
- Operate in agile teams and contribute to sprint planning and reviews
- Build scalable AI workflows and architectures with Databricks and LangChain
- Lead architectural planning and backlog creation for long-term reliability and maintainability
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics or similar
- 8+ years of experience in data science and AI projects
- Deep understanding of large language models (GPT, Llama, Claude, Mistral)
- Strong experience with Databricks including DLT, Delta Lake and Unity Catalog governance
- Solid knowledge of streaming technologies such as Spark Structured Streaming and Autoloader
- Proficiency in Python, SQL or Scala
- Expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data architecture
- Knowledge of DevOps practices including Git and CI/CD automation
- Experience in Azure cloud environments
- Familiarity with GenAI evaluation frameworks, benchmarking and testing methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of enterprise AI governance models
- Hands-on experience with Copilot, AI Foundry, Databricks MosaicAI and AgentBricks
- Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills
- Familiarity with trading and supply chain operations in a commercial context
