Responsibilities
- Work alongside our global clients as part of our KDB+ consulting practice
- Operate as Subject Matter Expert for KX product installations and customization
- Contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle including influencing the overall design and architecture of the application and developing, testing and deploying the code
- Interact with users to understand requirements and integration needs, deploy applications, assist with user configurations, troubleshoot issues and perform training
- Support users with accessing and querying data
Requirements
- 2+ years working in a software engineering/development role using KDB+/Q
- Strong academic background in business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science or technology
- Demonstrate a track record of developing successful software solutions in programming languages such as Java/C++/Python
- Experience with deployment tools such as Jenkins/TeamCity
- Self-starter who is proactive and driven with a passion for learning new tools and technologies
