We’re looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team in London, UK in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will support mission-critical derivatives trading systems and real-time market data platforms, ensuring high availability, resilience and compliance with industry regulations. You will work closely with global partners, trading desks and engineering teams to implement best-in-class deployment practices, optimize performance and enhance overall reliability across complex trading environments.ResponsibilitiesEnsure proactive management of workflows and system reliability for global trading environmentsDesign and implement best practices for application deployment, monitoring and observabilitySupport and troubleshoot production issues in real-time, providing rapid incident resolutionEstablish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for front-office environments to improve release efficiencyCollaborate with traders, developers and infrastructure teams to ensure system scalability and performanceLead integration and performance testing strategies for low-latency trading platformsOptimize processes for compliance and audit readiness, including regulatory standards (RTS6)Provide subject matter expertise for FIX connectivity, market data distribution and vendor integrationsDrive continuous improvement and technical initiatives to reduce operational risks and technical debtParticipate in on-call rotation for global trading infrastructure supportRequirementsMinimum 8+ years of experience in supporting trading systems in front-office environmentsProven expertise in FIX protocol engineering and vendor/exchange certificationStrong hands-on skills in Python, PowerShell and scripting for automation tasksFamiliarity with C# and relational database concepts, including SQLExperience troubleshooting and implementing market data distribution systems (RTDS – ADS/DACS/ADH)Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes for mission-critical systemsOperational experience with OMS/EMS platforms (such as TT, Bloomberg, NYFIX)Strong incident management capabilities in high-pressure environmentsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approachNice to haveHands-on experience with time-series analytics frameworks (kdb+, Shakti)Knowledge of multicast messaging protocols and real-time data traffic managementFamiliarity with cloud-native DevOps solutions and container orchestrationAwareness of algo-trading compliance standards (RTS6) and audit processesExperience with infrastructure monitoring tools and observability frameworksWe offerEPAM Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Protection benefits including life assurance, income protection and critical illness coverPrivate medical insurance and dental careEmployee Assistance ProgramCompetitive group pension planCyclescheme, Techscheme and season ticket loansVarious perks such as free Wednesday lunch in-office, on-site massages and regular social eventsLearning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, and coursesIf otherwise eligible, participation in the discretionary annual bonus programIf otherwise eligible and hired into a qualifying level, participation in the discretionary Long-Term Incentive (LTI) Program
