We're currently seeking an Automation Tester to join our growing team. The successful applicant will bring strong capabilities in Java-based test automation, direct experience working with Selenium and REST API testing, and a solid grasp of web application security fundamentals along with typical OWASP concerns.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, construct, and continually update automated test scripts using JavaSet up and manage ongoing UI automation initiatives built on the Selenium platformProduce automated test cases aimed at REST APIs and related backend infrastructureVerify that security patches addressing vulnerabilities have been implemented correctly and that all flagged concerns are completely addressedCarry out cycles of functional, integration, and regression testing after security updates, dependency changes, and other application adjustmentsConfirm results and fix effectiveness by using Veracode or equivalent SAST, SCA, and DAST toolsTeam up with developers to reproduce security-related bugs and validate that corrections have been correctly put in placeMake certain that security corrections don't create fresh complications within functionality essential to the businessAssess automated testing outcomes, identify unsuccessful cases, and contribute to determining root causesHandle validation work at both API and database levels as circumstances requireMaintain close collaboration with development staff, QA peers, product stakeholders, and other team contributorsSupport ongoing enhancement of test coverage, automated processes, and quality benchmarks across application portfoliosRequirementsTwo or more years of practical, applied experience in Java-based automated testingStrong hands-on familiarity with the Selenium toolNotable experience testing and confirming the functionality of REST APIsPrior work incorporating and executing automated testing within CI/CD pipeline structuresFunctional understanding of web application security fundamentals and typical OWASP-related risksAbility to evaluate and confirm the effectiveness of security-focused fixesDirect experience carrying out functional, integration, and regression test typesKeen troubleshooting capability paired with strong analytical reasoningAbility to function well within existing enterprise system environments and manage complicated business workflowsStrong SQL knowledge combined with practical database validation experienceWorkable communication ability along with English fluency at B2 level or above, supporting understanding of business needs and their conversion into agentic architecturesNice to havePrior work embedding and maintaining automated tests inside CI/CD pipeline setupsHands-on familiarity with Veracode or similar tools used for security testingBackground working with SAST, SCA, and/or DAST tools along with skill in interpreting their resultsExperience testing applications built on Spring or Spring Boot technologyPractical background performing regression testing and automation within older, established enterprise systemsExperience testing applications undergoing changes related to dependencies, frameworks, or security upgradesBackground in either building new or modernizing existing large-scale, complex systemsWe offerInternational projects with top brandsWork with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peersHealthcare benefitsEmployee financial programsPaid time off and sick leaveUpskilling, reskilling and certification coursesUnlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ coursesGlobal career opportunitiesVolunteer and community involvement opportunitiesEPAM Employee GroupsAward-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedInEPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
