You will serve as the senior point of contact for our clients on strategy, governance and outcomes, partnering with delivery managers and technical leaders to align execution with business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Act as a senior escalation and decision-making point on program health, risk and outcomes for executive stakeholders.
  • Oversee governance frameworks that embed data protection, ethical AI practices and regulatory compliance in program execution.
  • Review technical strategies from a risk and value perspective, ensuring feasibility without leading detailed solution design.
  • Define measurable success metrics that reflect client business objectives, beyond traditional delivery milestones.
  • Shape commercial terms, scope and delivery models for large engagements, ensuring appropriate risk management and margins.
  • Build and foster trusted relationships with executive-level client stakeholders and represent programs in governance forums.
  • Mentor delivery managers and program leads acting as a senior advisor while leaving operational ownership with their teams.
  • Contribute to business development activities by supporting bid strategy, shaping deals and aligning client needs with EPAM capabilities.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as a senior leader managing large, complex data and AI programs at enterprise scale.
  • Proven ability to translate data and AI strategies into actionable plans with clear business outcomes and ROI.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record overseeing budgets, risk governance and influencing contractual terms.
  • Practical knowledge of modern data platforms, AI and Generative AI concepts (Machine Learning, LLMs, MLOps) sufficient to challenge and assess technical proposals.
  • Awareness of regulatory and ethical considerations in data and AI, including data protection and responsible AI adoption.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with experience influencing C-level stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing large programs across multiple European markets in addition to the UK.
